What you can expect

Climb into a 4x4 and get ready to stick close to your guide as you explore the wicked wonders of Moungibi (Burketown). You'll follow your expert Gangalidda guide to naturally, historically, and culturally significant areas while learning all about the rich region as you go. Learn about how the Garawa and Gangalidda people live off the land, highlighting native species of plants and their uses, along with seasonal signposts that can foretell the fate of the coming seasons.

Along the way, you'll stop for afternoon tea, and end by heading back to your start point to cap off an excellent day. You'll have learnt about one of Australia's most culturally significant areas and the people that live in it.
