Always hard to plan for this one given the erratic nature of Melbourne weather. My booking was seamless and easy. I made a mistake; forgetting to read the fine print. I got in touch with customer service as soon as I received my vouchers. As it was a transaction issue, it was escalated and true to their words, this was fixed for me. We ended up going for the day and night experience at the observation wheel. Perfect blue skies and beautiful views were worth the wait and value for the vouchers! Definitely going back.

It was an amazing experience. Best place to see the whole city. Very enjoyable ride and well organised. I went there at night which is the best thing to see the city lights from really high above.

This 30 minutes experience gave us a memorable night! Did it together with my cousins and it was so good to bond in the wheel looking at absolutely AMAZING views. Love the description played through the speaker too to let us understand Melbourne better. Kudos to the staff member as well! We were commenting how energetic and welcoming they are even though we were the last group before closing!

Took our 5 year old twin grandsons on the wheel for a surprise birthday outing. They were so excited and loved going on the Melbourne Star. It is something they will remember for a long time. The whole experience is well run with very polite and courteous staff. A huge thank you from us all for a great day. Thoroughly recommended for all ages.

The Melbourne star although smaller than the London eye and the Singapore flyer does provide an awesome view of the cityscape. That too I happened to see it at the time of sunset which made the experience more exciting.

Top tips

"Do not forget your camera for this experience. You will see all the way across the city and beyond. The only big wheel in Melbourne will provide you with the best views."
