What you can expect

Offering visitors the chance to pick their own strawberries from the paddock, Beerenberg Farm is a popular attractions for locals and visitors to the region. The picking season runs from November to April and allows visitors to grab a basket and fill it up with as many fresh, juicy strawberries as you like. Strawberry pickings have been operating on the farm since 1975, opening its doors to visitors from around the country and the world. Visitors are advised to check the Beerenberg Farm website before visiting as the patch can be closed on various occasions. If the region has experienced a hot spell or if the plants are all 'picked out' the farm will close for a few days to allow the pants to grow and recover. The patch is open from 9am until 5pm seven days a week and costs $4 to enter for visitors over the age of 13. The price of strawberries is $9.95/kg.
