Taste fresh, handmade cheese straight from the cow's teat with a visit to Alexandrina Cheese Company. Creating deliciously creamy cheese since 1902, this local establishment follows traditional cheese making methods with milk from their Jersey Cows. With eighty cows living on the family farm, the factory is constantly churning out new cheeses and various cheese based products. The Company sells a range of products including hard cheeses; Cheddar, Romano, Pepato, Gouda and Edam, soft cheeses such as Feta, and a range of other dairy products including Pure Jersey Cream, Cremé Fraiche, and full cream and skim Jersey Milk. Upon your arrival at the factory you'll be treated a range of cheese tastings and the chance to indulge in some sweets (think delicious cheese cake) while overlooking the scenic, green farmland that surrounds. In addition to the on site café, Alexandrina Cheses can be purchased at the Willunga Farmer's Market and Adelaide Farmer's Market.
