Different from traditional botanic gardens, the Mt Penang Gardens boast a unique design helping them to draw visitors of all kinds. With 12 unique garden rooms, as well as sculptures and cascading waterways, the designer Anton James helped to develop a masterpiece that never stops amazing guests. With over 70% of the plants used in the gardens native to Australia, you'll have the chance to enjoy a number of flora species not often encountered. Whether you're looking for a way to spend the day or perhaps just a chance to enjoy a couple of hours, Mt Penang Gardens make all of this possible. Pack a picnic and sit back and relax in the serene settings, enjoy a bite to eat at the onsite cafe, pack your camera and enjoy the many photo opportunities, or simply try your luck at spotting the birds that have made these gardens their home. The gardens are open each day from 9.30am until 4.30pm and are free to visit. A great way to get in touch with nature, these gardens will inspire you and relax you.
