Loved the birds.

Loved the birds, one yellow Indian Ringed-neck Parakeet stayed on my shoulders and didn't want to leave! The light blue one pecked my wife's finger, drew blood; so be aware most birds there have sharp beaks! The terrain within the sanctuary itself is not suitable for strollers. Recommend wearing glasses and headwear covering the whole head.

We went to the Birdworld in Kuranda

We went to the Birdworld in Kuranda, it rained but that’s ok the kids thought getting soaked was fun. Take a raincoat or umbrella. The Birdworld itself is small. Value for money? Not really. I think their other tours that you can do for less the price. Kids enjoyed it but for almost $50 for a family of four, it’s daylight robbery lol guess it’s a touristy place they’ll charge what they want.

Went to Karunda for the day and visited Birdworld

Went to Karunda for the day and visited Birdworld, great that they aren’t forced to hang out with you and land on you freely. Easy wheelchair accessibility too. Lots of different birds too see and also wasn’t too busy when we went which was good. Be good for any weather!
