What you can expect

The Broome Courthouse Markets are a must-see; set in the beautiful Tropical Gardens, you can browse their various stalls or relax in the shade enjoying the day. With a variety of local vendors selling their products, including the coffee van, pearl and jewellery stalls, handmade crafts and fresh produce to name a few. Live entertainment is on every weekend for your enjoyment, featuring didgeridoo players, acrobats and clowns. Relax on the steps and verandah of the historic Cable House for a great view of the acts. The kids will love getting their face painted and treating on some home made ice cream, while the adults enjoy a freshly brewed coffee in this lovely atmosphere. The markets have various ready-to-eat stalls selling a range of food from donuts and ice cream to spring rolls and chicken satay. Broome’s Courthouse Markets are held every Saturday with the additional Sunday for part of the year. They also hold night markets for a few months of the year at the Town Beach Reserve.
