Nice trip, but tight schedule
Overall is good, but the schedules are too tight if you want to do snorkeling, helicopter, the boat, and lunch. Almost impossible.
Absolutely stunning day out on Moore Reef with the family. The crew were very helpful. Buffet lunch was reasonable. The trip out there was long, hence the 4 stars, but worth it when you get there.
We had a wonderful experience with Sunlover reef cruises from Cairns to Moore Reef. My family enjoyed the snorkelling - 4 hours on the pontoon gave us plenty of time to snorkel and enjoy the other activities. The boat ride was long, but we kept the children entertained with card games. Highly recommend for a fun family day out!
What you can expect
Enjoy a wonderful balance of Great Barrier Reef scenery and convenience with a tour from Cairns to an activity platform on the reef for several hours of fun in the sun and sea. On this Cairns to pontoon full-day trip, you'll have approximately four hours to explore the marine life and coral reefs of the Outer Great Barrier Reef from the Moore Reef pontoon. Be amazed by the underwater beauty as you snorkel, slide down the onboard waterslide, or join a glass-bottom boat and semi-submersible tour. To recharge, you'll be treated to a delicious buffet lunch before diving back into the adventure.
Heading to the platform, you'll travel in luxury onboard a modern and spacious air-conditioned catamaran, which departs daily from the Reef Fleet Terminal in the centre of Cairns. With all snorkelling equipment and necessary inclusions required, you'll have everything you'll need for a memorable day of exploring Australia's greatest natural wonder.

Watch out for hidden costs
Crew were really nice and friendly. Watch out for hidden fuel costs. You buy your ticket and pay then when you show up they charge a hidden fuel cost that never gets advised at the checkout. Just build this into the total price and be transparent rather than sneaking it in to make the tour look cheaper!
