What you can expect

Discover one of Tropical North Queensland's most unique wildlife attractions with full-day entry to Marineland Melanesia on Green Island. Just a short walk from the jetty, this family-run crocodile habitat has been caring for crocodiles for more than 50 years. Get up close to impressive saltwater crocs, explore fascinating aquariums filled with reef fish and coral, and uncover an incredible collection of Melanesian artefacts gathered from Papua New Guinea.

Watch the daily crocodile and turtle feeding presentation, where you'll learn more about these remarkable creatures from passionate local experts. Visit the Legacy Room to discover the story of Cassius, the world-famous Guinness World Record crocodile, then wander through displays of tribal art, nautical treasures and marine exhibits. Perfect for families and wildlife lovers, this Green Island experience offers a fascinating glimpse into the region's natural and cultural heritage.

  • Crocodile and turtle presentations are at 10.20am and 1.20pm daily.
  • Open daily, 9am to 4pm.
  • This experience allows for full-day attraction entry.
  • This experience takes place at Marineland Melanesia, 1 Esplanade, Green Island, QLD 4871
  • Follow the pathway through the resort towards the national park to the shipwreck entrance
  • Child tickets apply to ages four to 14
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Family ticket covers two adults and two children
  • Entry is valid for the day booked only
  • Presentation times may vary in extreme weather
