Kawarau Bungy & Nevis Bungy Combo – The Full Bungy Journey. This is the complete Bungy experience from humble beginnings to record-breaking freefall. The Kawarau + Nevis Bungy Combo takes you across two incredible locations and challenges you in two very different, unforgettable ways.
Start at the Kawarau Bridge, the birthplace of commercial Bungy. This 43m jump is where it all began — with tandem options available, touch the water, or go full send solo. It’s historic, scenic, and the perfect first leap. Then, step it up in every way at the Nevis Bungy — a massive 134m drop over a rugged alpine canyon. It’s the highest Bungy in Australasia, with 8.5 seconds of freefall and a cable car ride just to reach the jump pod. It’s not just a jump; it’s a statement.
Together, these two jumps will take you from legendary origins to ultimate elevation, and you’ll walk away transformed.

- Allow 1 hour to self drive or 2.5 hours for the bungy bus to the Kawarau Bungy and allow 4 hours for the Nevis Bungy.
- This experience is located at the Kawarau Bungy the Nevis Bungy in Queenstown.
- This experience takes place at Kawarau Bungy at Gibbston Valley, Queenstown, NZ 9384 and Nevis Bungy at Corner Shotover & Camp streets Queenstown, NZ 9300.
- Please dress warmly
- If you wish to take a camera out to the jump pod, or you wish to jump with a camera attached to you, it needs to be safely secured
- Kawarau Bungy
- Age: Min 10 yrs (Children 14 and under need to be accompanied by an adult) Max 110 yrs
- Single jumper weight - between 35kg to 160kg.
- Tandem jumps: Each jumper must be between 35kg - 117kg. The maximum combined weight of both jumpers must not exceed 235kg. The weight difference between tandem Jumpers must not exceed 30kg. Tandem Bungy requires river levels to be low or normal.
- Transportation: is available from the Station Building on the corner of Camp and Shotover Streets in the centre of Queenstown.
- Cameras: If you wish to take a camera out to the jump pod, or you wish to jump with a camera attached to you, it needs to be safely secured
- Jumping with a camera is entirely at your own risk and ONLY at the discretion of the jump crew
- Spectators: are welcome to come and get amongst the awesome atmosphere
- It's recommended that all customers are well rested, hydrated and have recently eaten before commencing their activity.
- Please inform our crew if you have any of the following conditions (please note it does not necessarily prevent you from Bungy Jumping, Swinging or Zipriding): High or low blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy (excluding photosensitive epilepsy – see note below), broken or fractured bones/dislocations, fragile skin, neurological disorders, diabetes, asthma, prosthetics, panic/anxiety attacks or recent sprains/muscular injuries.
- If you are pregnant (no matter stage you are in) or have photosensitive epilepsy unfortunately we are unable to jump you. There are no exceptions.
- Please note, if you have osteoporosis or scoliosis, or a recent concussion, we will require a doctor’s certificate from you pre-jump. Nevis Bungy Age: Min 13 yrs (Children 14 and under need to be accompanied by an adult) Max 110 yrs Weight: Between 45kg to 127kg Clothing Requirements: Please ensure you wear flat, secure and enclosed footwear. Winter can get very cold, so we recommend layering-up and taking a jacket
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
