Begin the morning with a leisurely 4.2km walk to The Pinnacle. Standing tall over the Grampians, peer below at the breathtaking Halls Gap and forest covered rocky escarpments that lay before your eyes.

A short walk after lunch will take you onto Mackenzie Falls to view one of Victoria's largest cascading waterfalls. The falls will have you mesmerised by the tumbling water plunging into the deep pools below but before you know it will be time to stop in at Halls Gap, the charming tourist village to see the local kangaroo hangout spot and end the day with a visit at the Boroka Lookout.   • We embark on our first hike of the day, a moderate 4.2km return hike that weaves us through fascinating rock formations, including the Grand Canyon and Silent Street before we arrive at The Pinnacle, the most iconic destination in the park. This famous jagged cliff face is quite the sight and there will be plenty of time to soak up the views and capture some amazing photos. Once we return, we will stop for a delicious cafe or bakery lunch before the drive up to MacKenzie Falls. Feel free to dip your toes in the icy mountain water to refresh your feet. Our next stop is the picturesque Boroka Lookout where you will be able to experience stunning views of Halls Gap, Lake Bellfield and Mt. William mountain ranges. We return to the delightful local village of Halls Gap where we will reveal one of the local kangaroo’s favourite hangout spots before making the journey back to Melbourne.

  • Pick up from Luna Park, Saint Kilda Melbourne VIC 3182 (Main entrance) at 7.05am or from the Undercover Taxi Rank on St Kilda Road (Between Hamer Hall & the Arts Centre) at 7.30am. Please note it’s approximately 200m from Flinders Street Station over the Yarra River
  • Drop off at 7.30pm to the Undercover Taxi Rank on St Kilda Road (Between Hamer Hall & the Arts Centre) or 7.45pm at Luna Park, Saint Kilda, Melbourne VIC 3182 (Main entrance)
  • Tours operate on Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Allow up to 13 hours for this experience
