- Please note that the for the remainder of 2023, SEA LIFE Melbourne’s largest exhibit the ‘Oceanarium’ is undergoing renovations, and many of the incredible animals – including the larger sharks and stingrays – will not be visible to guests. For a limited time only, you’ll be able to take an interactive journey through ‘Submerged’ – an immersive digital experience through living light, inspired by the bioluminescent underwater world.

- SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium’s operating hours are: Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm (last entry 4pm). Weekends, School Holidays and Public Holidays 9:30am - 5.00pm (last entry 4.00pm)

- SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium is centrally located in the CBD on the banks of the Yarra River, on the corner of King and Flinders Streets, Melbourne, opposite the Crown Entertainment Complex
- All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or over)
- Children under 4 years are unable to join the Glass Bottom boat
- Tickets are non-refundable
- Please be ready to make on-site payments using a 'contactless' bank card, rather than cash
- SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium politely requests that you refrain from visiting should you start displaying any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19
- You are required to select a date and time for your visit when making your online purchase
- Ensure you visit the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium at the date and time you select. Latecomers may not be allowed entry
- Once inside the attraction you may stay as long as you wish
- Pre-purchased tickets are only valid for the date you have selected upon purchase. If presenting a ticket on a date other than the date you have selected, additional fees may apply or admission denied

The Melbourne Aquarium was a good family experience but feels like something is missing while the shark exhibit is closed.
Took our toddler to the Melbourne Aquarium for the day and he had a great time seeing all of the sea life. Some of the light projections were great too. Unfortunately, the shark exhibit was closed for upgrades, which was a noticeable missing attraction. Some of the access with a pram was limited and confusing. Overall was a fun experience.
We went there last week, it was busy at the restaurant but we had fun.
My children loved the place, especially they were so excited to touch the sea stars and watched the scuba divers. Also, there were screen activities children can access the activities at their levels. We liked 4D movie as well. We will definitely visit there again!
Good experience to see everything under one roof. This will be more fun for kids.
Good experience to see everything under one roof of Sea Life Aquarium, Melbourne. Kids will enjoy more when compared to adults. They have many interactive sessions which includes playing video games while watching the aquarium and painting rooms to relax and have fun.
