Skyrail Rainforest Cableway will offer you a truly unique perspective of this ancient landscape where you will glide meter above the pristine canopy before descending to explore the forest floor at the Red Peak and Barron Falls. A one – way Skyrail experience will take around 1.5 hours with time spent at both Red Peak and Barron Falls, where here you can explore the breathtaking lookouts overlooking The Barron Falls (Din Din), historical displays and also enjoy a guided boardwalk tour from a Skyrail Ranger at Red Peak. In Kuranda, you're free to explore at your own pace.

- Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is located at 6 Skyrail Drv, Smithfield, approximately 15 minutes north of Cairns and 50 minutes south of Port Douglas
- This is a self drive tour option only and guests will need to find their own way to and from the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway terminal
- Please arrive at Skyrail no earlier than 15 minutes prior to allocated boarding time
- During busy periods, sharing of gondolas with other guests will be required
- Skyrail is a cash free experience. This includes our Gift Shop and Cafe
- It is highly recommended to reconfirm your booking at least 48 hours prior to the date of the activity
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of the activity. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted

Majestic views on the way to-from Cairns to Kuranda.
It's fun filled with majestic views of drain forest, waterfalls, bird sounds and if lucky, then to see one. My family enjoyed it fully. Skyrail don't have any glass view anymore, still the views you see are breathtaking. Highly recommend the experience.

A wonderful experience! Highly recommended, especially for families.
From the moment we arrived to check in, the staff were very organised. You are provided with a ticket the day before via email so no need to line up! The bus quickly arrived and we were off to the terminal. The train ride was beautiful. There is water available in each carriage and toilets if needed. Kuranda village is lovely with lots of shops and cafes. We chose to sky rail for the way back which was a lovely way to see the rainforest and waterfalls from above! Highly recommend

Lovely attraction to do and see when in Cairns with the family!
We chose the self drive option to Smithfield and stepped on the waiting bus that took us to the Railway Station. We caught the train up the mountain to Kuranda. What a beautiful way to travel. So much history and such beautiful scenery. Very informative. We went to the Butterfly exhibit in Kuranda. It was lovely. Our return trip down the mountain was the cable cars. Great view and easy to catch. Would definitely recommend doing railway up and cable cars down.
