This Barron River half day white water rafting tour - that includes all necessary rafting equipment - offers 2 hours of pure rafting fun, on a course that offers the intermediate challenge of Grade 3 rapids. With guaranteed water levels all year round, the Barron River makes for the ideal rafting destination due to its reasonable distance form Cairns.
Booking this tour will let you join a friendly, experienced guide and the rest of your rafters on the alternating smooth and bumpy waters of the Barron River as it winds its way through the heart of the Barron Gorge National Park. You'll be surrounded by the beautiful greenery of Cairns' tropical natural rainforest that provides a great visual contrast to the waters you'll be having fun on - if you're out for a semi-challenging, enjoyable rafting experience in the Cairns region, then this is the package for you!

- Rafting is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant
- Every participant must sign a Liability Release Form prior to commencing rafting tours
- Passengers under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian to sign the Liability Release Form on their behalf
- Minimum age: 12 years for Barron River Rafting
- River Levy $35 per person - payable on the day of travel
- Pre-bookings essential; subject to availability and minimum numbers
- Changes allowed 48 hours prior; within 48 hours booking becomes non-refundable

- Cancellation Policy Full refund for cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour. 50% refund for cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the tour. No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour. No refund for no-shows without notice. However, you may reschedule for another date (with-in 3 years) at a cost of $50.00 per person. Changes to Bookings: No fee for changes made more than 48 hours before the tour. $5.00 per person fee for changes made between 24 and 48 hours before the tour. $15.00 per person fee for changes made less than 24 hours before the tour, but prior to the scheduled departure time. Note: Any booking that is changed within 48 hours of the scheduled tour becomes non-refundable.
