- Ride the Nga Awa Purua rapids and squeeze through the narrowest spot of the river
- Reach speeds of up to 90km/h and experience awesome spins
- Departure time varies starting from 10:30am
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure
- Please allow 35 minutes for this experience
- This experience takes place on the Waikato river, just outside of Taupo
- 2:30pm
- Departs from 3 Nga Awa Purua Road, Rotokawa, Taupo
- Operates daily all year
- Minimum age is five years. Children need to be one metre tall to ride in the jet boats
- Please advise if you have a health conditions at the time of booking
- Pregnant woman cannot take part in this experience
- Footwear must be worn and bring a change of clothes in case you get wet
- To get onto the boat, you are required to head down 25 steps to the jetty. While this means the jetty is non-accessible to wheelchairs, please reach out to chat about how they can help get you to the boat
- Photos are available for purchase after the ride, payable on the day
- Standard Cancellation Policy & Fees:
- 100% Fee - Cancellations on the date of travel.
- 50% Fee - Cancellations 24hrs prior to travel (made by 12.00pm).
- 0% Fee - Cancellations 48hrs prior to travel (made by 12.00pm).
- We do not offer refunds or compensation if customers are late and/or miss their experience.
- Group (10+ pax) Cancellation Policy & Fees:
- 100% Fee - Cancellations made within 7 days of travel (after 12.00pm, 7 days prior).
- 50% Fee - Cancellations made between 7-14 days prior to travel (by 12.00pm).
- 0% Fee - Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to travel (by 12.00pm).
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
