What you can expect
Discover one of nature’s wonders at the Hells Gate Geothermal Park and Mud Spa. This geothermal field is known as the largest and most active in the Southern Hemisphere and you can explore the field on a tour of the reserve.
The reserve covers over 50 acres and you will see diverse plant life and scenery on the walk. Visitors can choose to between a self-guided walk with a map provided or join a guided tour of the park run twice a day. Allow 90 minutes to comprehensively see some of the hot water lakes, boiling hot pools and erupting waters.

- 1.5 hour guided tour or 1 hour self guided walk of the geothermal park
- Experience the geothermal features with a self guided walk or join a guided tour to learn about the history

- Allow 1 hour for self-guided walk or 1.5 hours for guided tour

- Complimentary guided-tours run daily at 10:30am and 2:30pm, subject to availability. Alternatively, a self-guided map is provided on arrival.
- Family passes are not offered by Experience Oz and will need to be purchased at the gate
