Our Heli-Cruise-Heli is the ultimate way to experience Milford Sound and Fiordland. Enjoy spectacular aerial views as we fly from Glenorchy to Milford Sound before taking to the seas for a cruise across the world-famous fiord.
Before returning to Glenorchy, touch down for a snow landing on the Upper Humboldt Mountain range with breathtaking panoramic views of the Dart River and Lake Wakatipu.
If Milford Sound isn't enough for one day, upgrade your flight and add-on a landing in our secret spot, the Earnslaw Burn! We think it's just as wonderful (if not better!) as Milford Sound.

- All flights depart from Heli Glenorchy
- Wear sensible comfortable covered shoes
- Bring along or wear warm clothing, including a jacket
- Remember to bring your camera, sunscreen, sunglasses and insect repellent
- Minimum passenger numbers apply
- Tour operator reserves the right to up-grade passengers or merge flights for operational reasons or flight management purposes if required
- Occasionally flight paths or landing locations may alter at the pilot’s discretion
- Flights are also weather dependent
- For the purpose of aircraft weight and balance and in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority rules and regulations, we require all passenger weights at the time of booking. Once we have received and reviewed this information we will be able to confirm the booking
- A minimum of 24 hours notice is required if you chose to cancel your booking.
- Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% fee.
- If no notice is given and passengers ‘no-show’ for the flight, 100% of the fare will be charged.
- If we have to cancel your flight due to bad weather, no fees are incurred.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
