What you can expect
This comprehensive tour will take you to the popular Phillip Island from Melbourne for a trip to view all the island's numerous varieties of wildlife, including its famous penguin parade in the evening! Departing from Melbourne in the morning and returning around midnight (this changes seasonally), you'll have a full day to take in the wonders that help make Phillip Island one of Australia's must-visit destinations while also stopping for some photo opportunities along the way. See some great and ruggedly beautiful island scenery, colonies of seals in the wild, get up close with koalas and much more.
Your first stop for the day will be at Brighton Beach bathing boxes. Here you will have some time to admire these iconic landmarks and take great pictures. Next we head to the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you will have the chance to get up close with Australia’s cuddliest wildlife icons. Follow it up with a visit to Point Grant and the Nobbies. Enjoy the stunning geography on offer and explore the various wooden walkways which provide amazing views of the coast line. - If you are unfamiliar with the area, we suggest arriving at the pickup point 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.

- Here are some recommendations of what to bring for your tour: - Dress according to the weather / Warm clothing all year round when traveling to Phillip Island (we recommend checking the weather app before your tour to pick the best outfit, but keep in mind that Melbourne's weather can be unpredictable. It’s a good idea to wear light clothing along with some warm layers just in case) - Comfortable walking shoes - Refillable water bottle - Snacks (there will be meal stops, but feel free to bring your own if preferred) - Power bank (there are no charging options on the bus or at many stops) - Credit/debit card for any additional purchases

- Large bags, strollers, prams, baby capsules, luggage and walkers cannot be brought on board
- This experience is not wheelchair accessible
- The touring vehicles lack ramps, handrails or onboard storage space for mobility aids
- Photography and videography are not permitted after sunset at the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island to protect the welfare of the penguins.
- You can change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience.
- No changes are allowed within 24 hours of the experience start time.
- Late arrivals or no-shows will result in forfeiture of your experience, with no refunds or rebooking options available.
- Please note that a “cancellation” also includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.
- All modifications (rebookings, cancellations, or refunds) must be made through the booking platform. The booking platform will inform the tour operator of any changes.
- Your pickup time may differ from the stated time on your voucher. The tour operator will contact you directly via email shortly after booking with your actual pickup time.
- All our tours are conducted in English however you can access tour information in other languages with the free Go West Tours App and your own headphones.
- Tour takes place rain or shine.
- Return time for the Phillip Island Penguins Tour: 21:00 to 24:00 (depending on the season)

It was an exciting experience and I would definitely recommend that to my friends.
It was fun and exciting, but it could have been better if we started earlier. so we could spend more time on the beach. The beach part was too short for me and I barely had any chance to swim. I would also recommend providing more pickup locations. it was mostly at CBD, while if it had two other locations on the way to go Phillip Islands, it did not waste the tour time and suit others like me to be picked somewhere closer to their living places. For instance, I live in Heatherton, but I had to come into the CBD, while the bus came back to a similar location again!
