What you can expect
Get up close and personal with marine life on a cage-free shark dive at SEA LIFE Melbourne. This unforgettable experience includes general admission to the aquarium and is perfect for all skill levels. To prepare for the plunge, fully qualified instructors will run you through an introductory briefing and a scuba skills training session. Equipped with a wetsuit and the essential diving gear, you’ll step into a 2.2 million litre Oceanarium for a thrilling 25 to 30-minute dive.
Come face to face with breathtaking Tawny Nurse Sharks, Grey Speartooth Sharks and Leopard Sharks. Admire marine life like exotic fish, Green Sea Turtles and rays swim past. Bring friends and family to watch and capture your dive from the viewing tunnel. Enjoy the ultimate up-close perspective on magnificent marine creatures and the lions of the sea.

- The dive is approximately 25-30 minutes in duration.

- 10:00am/11:00am - Divers are required on site at 8:45am for a safety briefing/induction
- 2:30pm/3:30pm - Divers are required on site at 1:15pm for a safety briefing/induction
- Scuba Diving is physically demanding and can be dangerous if you suffer from certain medical conditions. It is very important that you, the diver, do not suffer from any contraindications to diving
- All divers must read and complete our medical declaration questionnaire prior to booking. - DO NOT drink alcohol the night before your dive
- DO NOT fly in an aircraft within 12 hours after you dive
- You MUST have a reasonable degree of swimming ability
- If you are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, please do not book
- You must be 14 years or older to participate in our Shark Dive Xtreme experience. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18

- Late arrival or non-attendance will result in non-admittance to the dive session. Missing your scheduled time is non-refundable
- If you have a pre-existing condition but still want to dive, you must get medical clearance before your experience from a Qualified Dive Doctor
- SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium (Shark Dive Xtreme tickets) are non-refundable and specific to the dive specified in the booking.
- A maximum of TWO (2) changes in the dive date or time or diver identity can be made up to 7 days prior to the scheduled dive. These changes are dependent upon availability and at the discretion of the Shark Dive Xtreme booking Coordinator.
- The first change can be made free of charge via the 'Manage my booking' portal up to 7 days prior to the scheduled dive.
- An administrative fee of $50 for the second will apply and is payable at the time of the change. This must be requested via our customer service team.
- Changes within 7 days of the dive will NOT be permitted.
- All dives must be paid for at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium in advance. SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium res
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at the time of booking.
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction.
- For your information, complete Tour Operator information, including contact details, is included on your tour voucher.
- Availability was accurate at the time of booking. However, it is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control.
