Spend a glorious afternoon floating amongst the clouds on this 60 minute hot air balloon flight over Mansfield with complimentary in-flight photographs. Located amongst the foothills of the Victorian Alps, passengers are in for a treat as they take to the skies for an unforgettable journey over alpine landscapes, grazing lands, rolling valleys and forest-clad mountains.

No need to set the alarm early. Enjoy a sleep in and meet the pilot at the launch site in the mid-afternoon, a new seasonal experience available until September. Watch on as the colourful balloon inflates before climbing aboard and floating away for a truly special hour in the air. Bask in the glow of the afternoon soon and enjoy a moment of peace and serenity in the air.

What you need to know

The entire experience lasts 3-3.5 hours in total so usually completed between 6-6:30pm.
Night before your flight (after 6pm) : You'll receive a text from the Pilot advising the updated weather information and exact meeting time.
Day of your flight : meet the pilot at approx. 3pm at Delatite Winery - 390 Pollards Rd, Mansfield VIC 3722..
The exact meeting time will be finalised the day before; Global Ballooning Australia will drive all passengers to the launch site.
Launch : Passengers assist with the set up / inflation of the balloon
Afternoon: Fly for approximately 1 hour
Land : The pilot will land the balloon; passengers can assist to pack up the balloon
Drop off: All passengers are driven back to meeting point between 6-6:30pm.

Casual comfortable clothing (jeans and sneakers). Shoes must be flat. No high heels or open toed shoes permitted. Waterproof is preferable.

In the case of windy, wet miserable weather the flight is cancelled at the pilot's discretion.
Flights are usually confirmed the night before.
Bring a hat and your camera as there are fantastic photo opportunities.

Minimum fitness level required
Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket, and stand for the duration of the flight
Please advise the experience provider at time of booking if you have a medical condition that may prevent you from flying
Children under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult
Once confirmed, you will receive a flight confirmation email from the provider - if you don't receive this to your email, it is your responsibility to follow up prior to your flight date
Pregnant women in their third trimester cannot participate
Any bookings for the following day made after 4:30 PM may not be accepted due to short notice. Please contact the Global Ballooning office before 5:00 PM to confirm availability. If you do not receive confirmation from Global Ballooning, your booking is not confirmed

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
If your flight is cancelled, you will have 12mths to re-book. Strictly not refundable or exchangeable

There will be a minimum of four and a maximum of eight people in the basket during your flight.
Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
