Head out from Queenstown for a full day on the water and among the vines, opening with a 90 minute scenic cruise across Lake Wakatipu aboard the Earnslaw, a 106 year old coal fired vintage steamship and one of the lake's best known sights. Watch the shoreline and the surrounding peaks slide past from the deck, then swap the water for the vines.
Your afternoon takes in three of the region's standout wineries for tastings, including the Cave at Gibbston Valley, where a glass of premium wine comes paired with a cheese platter. Friendly local wine guides share the stories behind each vineyard along the way, so you leave knowing a little more about Gibbston than when you arrived. - The wine tour is four hours in duration
- This experience departs from Steamer Wharf, Queenstown, and the wine tour collects from the bus stop outside Café Marmolada, 43 Camp Street, Queenstown.
- Participants must be 18 years and over as this experience involves alcohol; photo ID may be required
- Participants must advise the experience provider of any special dietary requirements as a cheese platter is included in the wine tour
- Both the cruise and the wine tour operate in all weather conditions
- There is a maximum of 15 participants on this tour
- This experience is unavailable from 18 May to 26 June while the steamship is out of operation for scheduled annual maintenance
- Bottled water is available on the wine tour and participants are encouraged to bring a reusable bottle to reduce plastic waste

- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
