What you can expect
Nevis Catapult & Swing Combo – Pure Motion. Zero Limits. Take on two of Nevis Playground’s fastest, wildest, and most gravity-defying experiences in one session. This is the Nevis Catapult & Swing Combo – your ticket to back-to-back acceleration, airtime, and pure emotional high.
First, launch forward in the Nevis Catapult — a 150m blast across the valley at 100kph in just 1.5 seconds, pulling up to 3G of force. Then, switch direction and drop into the Nevis Swing, where you’ll freefall 70m into a 300m arc through one of the most dramatic landscapes in New Zealand. Whether you fly solo or tandem, upright or upside down, this combo offers a full-spectrum flight experience that leaves fear behind and puts courage on full display.

- Cameras: If you wish to take a camera out to the jump pod, or you wish to jump with a camera attached to you, it needs to be safely secured to your person to ensure it cannot be dropped Swinging with a camera is entirely at your own risk and ONLY at the discretion of the jump crew. The waiver you sign when checking in fully indemnifies AJHB of any loss or injury associated with you jumping with your camera
- Getting there: As the Nevis Canyon Swing site is located on private land, you are not allowed to drive there yourself. The only option is to take the Swing Bus from the centre of Queenstown. Trust us, its much more exciting to take the 4WD bus along the narrow gravel track anyway
- We recommend all customers are well rested, hydrated and have recently eaten before commencing their activity.
- Please inform the crew if you have any of the following conditions (please note it does not necessarily prevent you from Bungy Jumping, Swinging or Zipriding): High or low blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy (excluding photosensitive epilepsy – see note below), broken or fractured bones/dislocations, fragile skin, neurological disorders, diabetes, asthma, prosthetics, panic/anxiety attacks or recent sprains/muscular injuries.
- If you are pregnant (no matter stage you are in) or have photosensitive epilepsy unfortunately we are unable to jump you. There are no exceptions to this.
- Please note, if you have osteoporosis or scoliosis, or a recent concussion, we will require a doctor’s certificate from you pre-jump.
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
