What you can expect
This self-guided Half Day ride starts with a prompt bus departure from Around The Basin’s shop in Queenstown to Arrowtown. There, you'll be fitted with a bike and given all the details for your ride.
The ride starts by following the spectacular Arrow River Bridges Trail to the historic Kawarau Bungy Bridge (approx. 13 km). From there, the trail continues 3km into the Gibbston Valley, where you will be collected at Gibbston Valley Winery, departing in the scheduled bus back to Queenstown and the time provided in the breifing on the day.
This is a half-day ride departing Queenstown as follows:
SUMMER (1 Sept - 30 Apr): Morning: Departs 9:30 am - Returns 2:00 pm (approx), Afternoon: Departs 1:00 pm - Returns 5:00 pm (approx).
WINTER (1 May - 31 Aug): Morning: Departs: 10:00 am - Returns 2.00 pm (approx). Afternoon: Departs: 12:00 pm - Returns 4:30 pm (approx).

- Pick up and drop off from Queenstown CBD meeting point (3 Searle Lane)
- Quality mountain bike or electric bike (if upgraded)
- Helmet
- Detailed trail map
- Navigation/safety briefing and bike fitting
- Refreshments at wineries in Gibbston.
- Available seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day
- Summer (Sep - Apr): 9:30 am - 2:00 pm OR 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
- Winter (May - Aug): 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Please allow approximately two hours for this experience
- Please meet at our Shop - 3 Searle Lane, Queenstown (10 minutes prior to departure time) for the transfer to the starting point in Arrowtown. You will be picked up from a designated location in Gibbston and driven back to the meeting point in Queenstown
- Children must be over 135cms tall and confident riders if choosing the electric bike option.

- Late arrivals or no shows will result in you forfeiting your experience
