We had a fantastic time on the river cruise thanks guys.the food was perfect and the staff were very helpful. The wine flowed all night and the it was fun I would highly recommend it. Thanks also for the birthday pudding with a candle on for my husband.

I purchased the tickets for my brother and his partner, but due to Covid, they weren’t able to make it. I had to swap the gift with my husband's birthday present, and although it’s not something my husband would have chosen to do, he still enjoyed it. Had an amazing experience on the cruise. Dinner was fantastic and the cruise team were easygoing and very helpful. The night was perfect with amazing weather. The sunset and the night scene were majestic. Definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Enjoy a four-course Yarra River dinner cruise and truly soak up Melbourne's glittering skyline. Aboard the Spirit of Melbourne Cruising Restaurant, one of Melbourne's most unique dining experiences, you wind your way along the river past glowing city lights! Taste freshly prepared food with beverages from alcoholic to soft drinks for the three-hour cruise experience. Witness Melbourne city at night in a whole new way, with expansive windows indoors or step out to the viewing deck under the starry sky.
A tantalising tasting platter kicks off the meal, followed by your choice of mains, including chicken, fish, beef, lamb and a vegetarian option for all tastes. Indulge your sweet tooth with a selection of mini desserts, then cap everything off with a lovely cheese platter consisting of a number of Aussie cheeses, crackers, fruit and nuts.

- Entree
- Ratatouille Filo Parcel served with goats cheese and salad (V)
- Entree Platter: Bao bun with roasted duck breast • Natural oyster with spicy seafood cocktail dip • Seared lamb loin with minted cucumber ribbons and yoghurt dressing
- Main Course - Your choice of:
- Chargrilled Chicken Breast with mushroom cream sauce, served with potato and vegetables (GF)
- Chargrilled Beef Eye Fillet cooked medium with a port wine jus, served with potato and vegetables (GF)
- Portuguese Lamb Shank served upon mash potato with a confit of vegetables (GF)
- Whole Baby Pumpkin filled with a stir fry of vegetables and quinoa, topped with melted cheese (V) (GF)
- Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagna with a bechamel sauce served with potato gratin & seasoned vegetables (V)
- Blue eye fish fillet baked in parchment with cherry tomatoes, Kipfler potatoes and black garlic butter

- The Cruising Restaurant may sometimes operate on the Yarra Countess and the Yarra Empress, depending on demand, weather, major events, river closures, and tides
- All menu items can be prepared halal expect for the Lamb Shank Main
- Hotel transfers are not included

Must do for couples and those looking for a night out on the Yarra to experience Melbourne’s CBD beauty. Staff were amazing and accommodated all requests. Professional in ever manner bringing drinks out all night while having a chat about the cruise and city itself. All 3 course meals were perfect and served within a good time which allowed us to experience the top deck and have drinks in between meals. 10/10 would recommend.

The food was very good better than I expected and complimented with unlimited alcohol how could you go wrong? The staff were very attentive and well-mannered. The only fault and this is very minor would be the route we take. Maybe we can’t go the other way on the Yarra and so we have to go that way. But then again that’s a very minor one.
