I couldn’t have asked for a better first whale shark experience
I was quite nervous before the tour and, to be honest, even a little scared about swimming so close to a whale shark. But the reality was completely different from what I imagined. The crew was amazing and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. The girls were always checking on everyone, making sure we felt safe, confident, and ready to enjoy the experience. Their kindness and positive attitude made such a difference. The whale sharks themselves are incredibly calm and peaceful animals. Once I got in the water, all my nerves disappeared. You can swim alongside them comfortably and just enjoy the moment. It was an absolutely incredible experience, and we had plenty of opportunities to swim with them throughout the day. The equipment was in excellent condition, including the fins, snorkels, and wetsuits. The boat was also very well maintained, and the captain was fantastic. Everything was organized, professional, and punctual. I couldn’t have asked for a better first whale shark experience. Thank you to the whole team for making it so special! 🐋💙

This was such an amazing day!! The crew were so lovely, always checking up on us and making us feel comfortable. The skipper was great as well, spotting all the marine life along the way to make sure no one missed anything. Swimming with the whale sharks was an absolute dream! I can’t recommend it enough and definitely do it with these guys. From getting picked up/dropped off, 5+ seperate swims with the whale sharks, professional photos and being well-fed all day; these guys are awesome. Had great knowledge of exmouth and whale sharks too. Seriously made the day as smooth and easy as possible. As someone who came from the Gold Coast specifically for this, i’d spend the money to do it all over again!
What you can expect
Spend a full day exploring Ningaloo Reef off Exmouth on a whale shark, wildlife and whale eco-tour. From September to late November, you’ll snorkel among incredible marine life, with opportunities to swim alongside whale sharks, manta rays and other wildlife when sightings and conditions allow. You’ll also keep watch for humpback whales as you cruise through this spectacular marine playground.
Your adventure takes place aboard a spacious, state-of-the-art 65-foot, two-storey vessel. Stretch out on the undercover lower deck, enjoy easy water-level access via the marlin board, or head upstairs for prime wildlife spotting and a spot of sunbaking. Prefer to take it easy? Absolutely amazing experience with Ningaloo Blue Whale Shark Snorkeling! This is something my family and I will remember forever. Today I went out with my daughter, sister, niece, and brother, and we honestly had the best time ever. The entire crew, both the ladies and the men, were incredibly friendly, genuinely lovely people, and so informative throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Swimming with the whale sharks was simply breathtaking. They are such majestic creatures, and seeing them up close was a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. Words really can’t describe how incredible it was. A special highlight was also seeing a blue pygmy whale – absolutely epic! The colour was unbelievable and something I’ll never forget. Everything about the day exceeded our expectations. If you’re thinking about doing this, don’t hesitate. Everyone should experience this at least once. Highly recommend Ningaloo Blue Whale Shark Snorkeling – an unforgettable adventure and memories that will last a lifetime!
Life changing experience
Life changing experience - still thinking about this many weeks later. We had such an incredible time on our whale shark dive with Ningaloo Blue. We saw two beautiful whale sharks across 6 dives. Big thank you to the team for making this such an amazing memory for us! The photographer on the dive was also incredible - I highly recommend getting the video too.

Amazing day out with the Ningaloo Blue crew. Swam 4 times with 2 different whale sharks, saw mum and baby humpbacks and had hundreds of spinner dolphins playing in the boats wash for at least 20mins. It was one of the most incredible days. I would definitely book through ningaloo blue again.
