What you can expect
Embark on an unforgettable cultural journey on Ngumbarl/Jabirr-Jabirr Country with Aunty Pat Torres, a local Custodian of the area. Begin with a 45-minute drive in your own 4-wheel drive vehicle to the northern beaches of Broome, followed by a 2.5-hour immersive experience.
This hands-on tour allows you to participate in building a traditional ground oven, cooking fish wrapped in paper bark, and making damper. While the bush tucker is cooking, Aunty Pat will captivate you with powerful Dreaming stories of the region. After a delightful morning tea, you'll learn the Snake Dance and pick up some local words in the traditional language.

- Tour Location is at Quandong Point, 45 mins drive from Broome off the Minari Track (4-Wheel drive required)

- No refund can be given for any unused services or early departures.
- In the event of weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances, the operator reserves the right to alter the itinerary or cancel the tour.
- Children are welcome to participate under supervision of a Parent or Guardian.
- For tours where food or refreshments are served, guests who are gluten or lactose intolerant must notify us upon booking so appropriate arrangements can be considered.
- minimum of 5 people required for tour to operate.
- Any bookings cancelled within seven (7) days of booking date, will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
- Any bookings cancelled between three (3) and seven (7) days of booking date, will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Any bookings cancelled within three (3) days of booking date and including any no-shows, will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at the time of booking.
- Upon completion of the purchase, please print the voucher and present it on the day of the experience.
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction.
