The magic and romance of flying in a hot air balloon can be easily experienced with our most popular balloon package.
From the air you will soak in a bird’s eye view of the heritage city of Ipswich, Great Dividing Range mountains, Brisbane city skyline, Scenic Rim and Somerset countryside. We are proud to offer this unique opportunity to take in panoramic city and country sights.

- Please allow 3 to 4 hours for your hot air balloon experience
- Please meet at Ipswich Visitor Information Centre, 14 Queen Victoria Parade, Ipswich QLD 4305, 45 minutes before sunrise
- You MUST contact Floating Images to reconfirm your meeting time (contact details with be printed on your voucher)
- Each Passengers weights must be noted in the booking notes
- Children aged 6-12yrs must be accompanied by an adult
- Children under 6 years are not allowed to fly as per the Australian aviation rules
- The flight path is subject to change without notice as dependant on wind speed with the decision being made by the pilot with the safety of passengers in mind
- The flight time can slightly alter on the day, should the weather conditions hinder the safety of the balloon flight
- Any flight altered or cancelled between 8 and 14 days prior to flight date – will incur a $25 cancellation fee per person deducted from your refund or full credit will held against the re-booking of your flight

- will forfeit the full fare per person and will not be refunded.
