What you can expect

Wake up early to watch kangaroos and wallabies hop along the beach as the sun rises over Cape Hillsborough. Departing from Airlie Beach in the early hours, you’ll arrive just in time to see the sunrise while the kangaroos and wallabies graze on the sand. With tea and coffee on arrival, you can sip a warm drink while soaking in the incredible views and capturing photos of this once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter.

After the sunrise, take a short walk to the lookout where you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the Coral Sea and Green Island. Then it’s off to Zarby’s Retro Cafe, a local favourite where you can purchase a hearty breakfast before heading back. With return transport, bottled water, snacks, and a knowledgeable guide included, this eco-certified experience blends spectacular scenery with an unforgettable wildlife moment. It’s a must-do for anyone visiting the Whitsundays and a memory you’ll treasure forever.
