    Serene Sunset Sail

The Sip and Sail Sunset Cruise aboard the Pilgrim was a very laid back and enjoyable affair. We met our skipper and fellow passengers on the deck at Peppers and had soon settled into our choice of positions on board. After a safety briefing we motored out of the marina and before long the sails were set and the big yacht powered away. A wide choice of drinks was served and each little group received a delicious cheese and fruit platter. We needed a doggie box (available on request) to take the remains of ours home. The captain was quite informative about the history, cost and construction of the boat and his experiences on Magnetic Island. He invited a number of passengers to take a turn at steering and volunteered to take photographs. After one long tack away from Nelly Bay we turned and sailed back. Light was failing as we motored back to our berth and the skipper backed the boat into position. All secure, we said goodbye to our new friends and walked up the gangway and home.

    An unforgettable experience

The sunset sail with Pilgrim was an unforgettable experience. The weather was ideal for sailing and every part of the evening was perfectly executed by the friendly crew from start to finish. With free flowing drinks and a delicious cheese platter served on board, we felt the experience offered excellent value for money. Booking through ExperienceOz was seamless. An ideal way to spend a Friday afternoon on beautiful Maggie Island. Would absolutely recommend.
