Climb aboard a lovingly restored heritage steam train for a tour through Toowoomba lasting two hours and 30 minutes, where the rhythm of a vintage steam engine carries you back to a slower, grander age of rail travel. Departing from the historic Toowoomba Railway Station, you will settle into comfortable seating with wide panoramic windows that frame the city and surrounding countryside from a whole new perspective.
The half hour ride takes you out to a heritage railway museum and station, where free entry and a guided tour bring the region's rail heritage to life. Spend around an hour and a half exploring the site at your own pace before the return leg back to Toowoomba. Whether you are a railway enthusiast, a lover of local history or simply after a relaxed and characterful day out, this nostalgic tour offers something for all ages. All aboard for a charming trip into Toowoomba's steam powered past.
