What you can expect
Jump into an unforgettable underwater shark diving adventure at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. With no prior diving experience needed, you’ll start with a full scuba briefing and training session led by professional dive instructors before gearing up and stepping into the 1.5 million litre oceanarium. Then it’s time for the main event, with a 30-minute cage-free dive alongside incredible marine life. Swim side by side with endangered Grey Nurse Sharks, giant stingrays, and schools of colourful fish as they glide through their habitat.
This experience is a thrilling yet safe way to see sharks up close, with expert guides by your side every step of the way. The Grey Nurse Sharks range from one to three metres and are free to swim around you, without barriers. All equipment and wetsuits are provided, and your experience also includes general admission to SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, so you can keep exploring the exhibits before or after your dive. Plus, you’ll take home a certificate of completion of your shark diving adventure.

- Available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8am, 11am, and 2pm
- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled shark dive time
- Monday to Friday: 10am - 5pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9.30am - 5pm
- This experience is approximately two hours and 30 minutes in duration.

- Participants must speak and understand English
- Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited the night before the dive
- Diving participants must not travel by air within 24 hours after their dive
- Participants must be of moderate fitness and able to swim 25 metres unaided
- Participants under 18 years must accompanied by a parent/guardian during the pre-dive briefing
- Completed medical questionnaire must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled dive
- Individuals with medical conditions (e.g., asthma), those who are currently ill, or pregnant should not participate in the dive
- Participants with pre-existing medical conditions who still wish to dive must obtain and present medical clearance in advance
- All non-certified divers are required to complete a medical declaration
- Non-refundable.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
