What you can expect
Dive into the ultimate underwater thrill at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast. This cage-free shark dive puts you face-to-face with some of the ocean’s most impressive predators. You’ll start with a scuba briefing and dive training session in the learner diver tank, led by experienced instructors who’ll have you feeling confident in no time. Then it’s time for the main event, a 30-minute dive inside the oceanarium, where you’ll swim alongside grey nurse sharks up to three metres long, reef sharks, wobbegongs, stingrays, and a variety of tropical fish.
This diving experience is one of the few where getting up close to sharks is guaranteed and totally safe. All dive gear and wetsuits are provided, and you’ll walk away with a certificate to show your friends and family. Your dive experience also includes general admission to SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, so you can keep exploring before or after your plunge. Whether you’re ticking it off your bucket list or chasing a new kind of adrenaline, this unforgettable shark dive is going to stay in your memories forever.

- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled shark dive time
- Monday to Sunday: 9.00am - 3.00pm

- This experience is approximately two hours and 30 minutes in duration.

- Participants must speak and understand English
- Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited the night before the dive
- Diving participants must not travel by air within 24 hours after their dive
- Participants must be of moderate fitness and able to swim 25 metres unaided
- Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over 18 years who is also a paid participant in the dive
- Completed medical questionnaire must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled dive
- Individuals with medical conditions (e.g., asthma), those who are currently ill, or pregnant should not participate in the dive
- Participants with pre-existing medical conditions who still wish to dive must obtain and present medical clearance in advance
- All non-certified divers are required to complete a medical declaration on
