What you can expect
It’s the best of both worlds! Start by climbing our Level 1 cable climb, then join our cliffside trail to the nextdoor waterfall. Here you will get up close and personal with the waterfall by abseiling/rappelling the lower section of right-hand Twin Falls Waterfalls. You will be supported by an experienced guide the entire time and you will learn climbing and abseil skills on this trip.
No previous abseiling or climbing experience is required, but good fitness is. Bring your sense of adventure and get ready for some fun!

- Please allow 5-6 hours for this experience
- This includes practice, safety briefing, climbing, abseiling/rappelling, breaks and walking
- The meeting point is Wildwire, Twin Falls Waterfall, Wanaka to Mt- Aspiring Road.
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your departure time
- For Climbing & Hiking: Please wear: sturdy walking shoes with grip and comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the weather on the day, a small pack & full water bottle,
- Optional: sunblock, snacks, spare layers and fingerless gloves, such as bike gloves.
- For Canyoning: Please wear sturdy walking shoes with grip. Shoes will get. Wear light sportswear for the walk up and a swimming suit for under your wetsuit.
- Optional: Waterproof case for phone, bring towel and change of clothes for after.
- Suitable for adventurous, fit beginners. Must be able to walk on uneven terrain, move through steep exposed cliffs and be active for up to 6 hours.
- Minimum numbers 3 person
- Minimum age is 12
- Minimum height is 120cm
- Minimum weight is 40kg, maximum weight 100kg
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
