Set in a rural part of Noosa in an intimate venue that's smallish on size but big on passion and talent, the theatre's cosy scale works in its favour and only serves to enhance the drama, with the audience's close proximity to the performers on stage helping grant even more impact. Pantomime, comedy, musicals, drama; all forms of the arts are covered here throughout the year, and it makes for a refreshing chance of pace from your average night out at a standard movie theatre. The venue is clean and modern, with plush, comfortable seating that grants great views of the stage throughout. It's also very reasonably-priced given the degree of effort involved in keeping things running up to standard - the Noosa Arts Theatre is run entirely by local volunteers - and comes equipped with an enjoyable bar environment for socialising both beforehand and after the show. As a licensed venue, enjoying a drink and mingling with the cast and grew is just another layer of enjoyment that helps augment what is already a great, alternative evening of entertainment in Noosa.
