Get up close with marine life on a cage-free shark dive at SEA LIFE Melbourne. To prepare for the plunge, fully qualified instructors will run you through an introductory briefing and a scuba skills training session. Equipped with a wetsuit and the essential diving gear, you’ll step into a 2.2 million litre Oceanarium for a thrilling 30-minute dive. Once underwater, you’ll come face to face with awe-inspiring Tawny Nurse Sharks, Grey Speartooth Sharks, and Leopard Sharks, along with majestic Green Sea Turtles, rays, and vibrant exotic fish.
Friends and family can watch and cheer you on from the viewing tunnel, making it an experience you can share even if they’re staying dry. Your dive includes general admission to the aquarium, so you can keep exploring SEA LIFE Melbourne’s marine exhibits before or after your plunge. With its perfect mix of adrenaline and marine magic, this is the closest you can get to swimming with the ocean’s most magnificent creatures.

- 30-minute shark dive experience
- One-hour scuba diving briefing and training session

- All dive equipment and wetsuit
- Morning dives: Arrive at 8.45am for a 10am or 11am session
- Afternoon dives: Arrive at 1pm for a 2.30pm or 3.30pm session
- Monday to Friday: 10am - 5pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 9.30am - 5pm
- This experience is approximately two hours and 30 minutes in duration.

- Minimum age is 14 years old
- Participants must speak and understand English
- Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited the night before the dive
- Diving participants must not travel by air within 24 hours after their dive
- Participants must be of moderate fitness and able to swim 25 metres unaided
- Participants under 18 years must accompanied by a parent/guardian during the pre-dive briefing
- Completed medical questionnaire must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled dive
- Individuals with medical conditions (e.g., asthma), those who are currently ill, or pregnant should not participate in the dive
- Participants with pre-existing medical conditions who still wish to dive must obtain and present medical clearance in advance
- All non-certified divers are required to complete a medical declaration
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
