What you can expect
Buckle up for a two-hour adventure through Kangaroo Island’s wild landscapes on a guided buggy tour. After putting on your helmets and goggles, your expert guide will take you into the heart of the island. 500-year-old gum trees line the Eleanor River, with koalas often spotted lounging in the branches. From there, you’ll drive out towards the coastline, where powerful swells crash into the rugged cliffs. Standing on a remote beach, you’ll truly feel the raw, unspoilt magic of this unique destination.
The excitement continues as your guide drives you through the desert-like landscape of Little Sahara, creating the perfect finale. Throughout the tour, your local guide will share stories of the island’s ecology and wildlife, giving you a deeper appreciation of Kangaroo Island and it's untamed beauty. It’s an exhilarating way to explore parts of the island that few ever get to see.

- This experience will takes approximately two hours.
- This experience takes place at the Little Sahara Adventure Centre, 3733 South Coast Road, Vivonne Bay, Kangaroo Island, SA.
- No minimum numbers.
- Tours generally operate with a guide and from one to seven participants.
- Larger groups can be catered for by request and will have more guides and extra buggys.
- Tours operate in most weather conditions, however not during extreme conditions that may affect the safety of customers. As such, the provider reserves the right to reschedule your experience.
- Accessible for wheelchairs.
- The minimum age for this experience is three years.
- You must complete a risk release form before commencing
- Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years or over.
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
