Embark on a half-day bushwalking tour through the heart of Budj Bim National Park and the Kurtonitj Indigenous Protected Area with Gunditjmara Aboriginal guides. Your journey begins at the sacred, World Heritage-listed Kurtonitj site, where you'll learn about the creation story from cultural elders and explore unique geological features. Discover ancient stone kooyang (eel) traps, stone channels, remnants of stone house sites, and kooyang smoking trees.

Next, travel to Budj Bim National Park for a morning tea break and explore ‘Lake Surprise,’ a volcanic crater where guides will share the legend of Budj Bim. The bushwalk continues through lush forests, revealing lava tunnels, caves, and local wildlife.
