Had a safe trip over with Keppel Connections and decided to do the snorkel dive to Secret Cove which was amazing. Great day - could have spent a few more hours but departure off island was a bit late at 5pm so had to go at 130pm.
What you can expect
Spend the day exploring the best of Great Keppel Island on the Great Barrier Reef with this day tour departing Yeppoon in Queensland. With a cruise off the mainland, you'll arrive at the island with a whole day to explore this beautiful part of the country.
Wade into the clear waters straight off the beach to discover the flourishing Southern Great Barrier Reef. Snorkelling hire is available on the day through Keppel Dive & Snorkel, please show them your voucher. After spending the first part of the day exploring, you'll be hungry for a bite to eat. This also includes lunch on the island, so you can enjoy a meal of your choice off our lunch menu one schooner of beer, a glass of wine or soft drink to accompany it. Lunch is to be enjoyed at your leisure from 11:30am until 2:30pm.
At the end of the day, you'll board the ferry once again to transfer back to the mainland. This is a great way to explore this beautiful part of the Southern Great Barrier Reef and includes all of the necessities for a great day out; ferry transfers and lunch.

- Return ferry trip from Keppel Bay Marina
- Enjoy either a burger, fish & chips or Caesar salad and a beverage between 11:30am - 2:30pm
- One can of XXXX Gold or Great Northern , glass of house wine or soft drink
- Spend 6.5 hours on the Island and relax before heading back to the Ferry
- Hotel transfers
- Extra Watersports- SUPS, Kayak hire, PADI Diving & SCUBA
- Everyday- 7:30am, 9am, 1pm & 3pm
- Ferries depart daily from Keppel Bay Marina Rosslyn Bay Yeppoon Red Jetty
- Mackay is approximately 4 hours away from Yeppoon
- Check-in 30 mins prior to departure time

- Please ensure you leave enough time to check in. Check-in is 30 minutes before departure.
- Turn off the scenic highway towards Rosslyn Bay Harbour. You’ll come to a mini roundabout, take the first exit to Keppel Bay Marina. As you come down past the car park with boat trailers, there’s a little ‘A’ frame board with Keppel Konnections on, turn right and drive towards the dirt loading area. You can pull right in and unload next to a shaded area at the top of the red jetty but please park at either the security car park or out in the marina main car park. Please check in at our little green ticket shed at the top of the ramp.

- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

The tour is nice. The boat took 30min approx. They give you time to explore the island by yourself, snorkel equipment included and lunch is very good!
Beautiful island and amazing beaches and views. We took the boat at 9am, very sunny day and where you arrived is there a coffee restaurant open with a variety of meals. You have the snorkel equipment ready to explore in Monkey beach (takes 30/40 minutes walking). The snorkel tour cost $45 per person if you like to visit another parts of the island. I recommend 100% this tour, thank you.
