Learn the basics of horsemanship, from understanding the horses' movements and cues to guiding speed and direction, all within the safety of a round pen. Tailored to suit your comfort level and goals, this riding lesson is suitable for all levels, whether you're new to horse riding or already have some experience. Easygoing, welcoming and immersive, this lesson allows horse lovers of all ages to get up close, learn new skills and enjoy some quality time outdoors.

  • Lessons are available from Wednesday to Saturday at 9.30am, 10.10am, 10.50am, 11.30am, 12.10pm, 12.50pm and 1.30pm
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to lesson start
  • The experience is 30 minutes in duration.
  • The experience is located at Historic Rivermill, 950 Beaudesert Nerang Rd, Mount Nathan, QLD 4211.
  • Long pants
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Sunscreen and a hat
  • Light jacket
  • Minimum age is eight years
  • Participants under 18 years old require the consent of a parent or guardian
  • Not available on Mondays, Tuesdays or public holidays
  • Maximum weight of 90kg
  • Maximum of two participants per session
  • This experience is suitable for riders of all skill levels
  • Groups of more than two will be accommodated in separate turns
  • Please contact the experience provider prior to your arrival to confirm your experience
  • This experience is a riding lesson and does not include a trail ride
  • In extreme weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
  • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
