Providing visitors with an insightful experience into the rich history of the successes and tribulations soldiers have faced on the front line, the Australian War Memorial features a number of galleries, exhibits and artefacts that help to both commemorate and educate. Explore galleries that document the First World War right through to exhibitions that provide an insight into more recent conflicts such as the efforts of Australians in Afghanistan. Open 10am to 5pm daily, the Australian War Memorial is a great option for an eye-opening day out that all ages will thoroughly enjoy.
