A delicious mid-morning meal and wholesome animal encounter all rolled into one? You betcha!
Join a beautiful bunch of alpacas and llamas for a delicious brunch on the farm. Get amongst the herd as you feed them a tasty treat, then tuck into a tasty spread of scrambled eggs, hash brown, bacon, spinach, grilled mushrooms, grilled tomato and a bread roll. Learn all about your new furry friends from one of our knowledgeable guides, whilst playing with the alpacas and llamas too!
Finish off your experience with a trip to the Blackwattle Farm Shop, full of wools, yarns, gifts, toys and more.

- A visit to The Blackwattle Farm Shop which is full of yarns, wools, fibre, roving, packs, gifts, toys and goodies galore!
- Open 10am – 4pm every second Sunday
- Please allow approximately 2 hours for this experience
- This experience is located at Blackwattle Alpaca Farm, 315 Pateman's Lane, Murrumbateman, NSW, Follow the Barton Highway until you reach the Euroka Ave turn-off (Do not take the Gooda Creek Rd turn-off). Follow Euroka Ave right to the end. Take a right at the T-intersection onto Patemans Lane. We are located at the very end of Pateman's Lane. Follow the gravel driveway and park at the Farm Shop Carpark. Please park in the carpark and not on the grass as the alpacas graze on the grass
- Breakfast items include toast, hash browns, bacon, eggs, cheese, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, spinach and muesli cups
- When booking, please advise us on any dietary requirements that we will need to be aware of/cater for
- Guests are advised to wear appropriate footwear to the farm as we will be walking through paddocks. Please wear flat and fully enclosed shoes
- Tour operator must be notified of any disability that may prevent someone from understanding directions, could result in unpredictable behaviour, or that limits a person's mobility
- This is not a private experience and is open to all members of the public
- Guest are able to visit the farm for free. Participation in the event/brunch/tour requires a booking
- The tour runs weather permitting. Tours are able to go ahead in Light to Moderate rain (as advised on the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Canberra Radar Loop). Wet weather tour options are available for these conditions. Farm Accessibility:
- Wheelchair Access: There are flat concrete paths around the Farm Shop. Paddocks and picnic areas are flat and wheelchair accessible when weather permits
- Parking: There is ample parking in our gravel carpark which is located directly behind the Farm Shop. There is concreted accessibility parking, which is clearly signed and located next to the Farm Shop entrance
- Accessible Toilets: There is a wheelchair accessible toilet located in the Farm Shop
- Assistance Dogs: Certified Assistance Dog who have completed all of their training are allowed
- Please notify the farm in advance if you are bringing an Assistance Dog to an Alpaca Encounter
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
