- Dawn Climbs operate every Saturday throughout summer and twice a month during the rest of the year, giving you plenty of opportunities to experience Brisbane at sunrise.
- Departure times vary throughout the year to coincide with the changing sunrise and generally depart between 3:20 am and 5:00 am.
- Your exact climb time will be confirmed prior to your experience.
- Allow approximately 1.5 hours for your complete adventure, including check-in, safety briefing, equipment fitting and your fully guided Story Bridge Adventure Climb.

- Brisbane Story Bridge Adventure Climb is located at 5 Boundary Street, Brisbane QLD.
- Your Story Bridge Adventure Climb begins at our purpose-built Adventure Climb Headquarters, located beneath the Story Bridge at Howard Smith Wharves, 5 Boundary Street, Brisbane. You'll find us between Crystalbrook Vincent Hotel and Betty's Burgers, just a short riverside walk from Brisbane's CBD.
- Getting here is easy. Paid parking is available at the Howard Smith Wharves car park, with additional street parking nearby. You can also arrive by CityCat via the Howard Smith Wharves ferry terminal (just a short walk away), by train to Fortitude Valley or Central Station, by bus to the city, or on foot along the scenic Brisbane Riverwalk.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled climb time to check in, complete your safety briefing, store your belongings in complimentary lockers, and be fitted with your climb suit and harness before your unforgettable adventure begins.
- Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Fully enclosed rubber-soled shoes (no heels, sandals, thongs, or leather-soled footwear). Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for daytime climbs. Any essential medication (e.g. asthma inhaler or EpiPen), which can be carried securely by your Climb Leader if required. Your booking confirmation and photo ID if requested. Please note: For safety reasons, all loose personal items, including mobile phones, cameras, smart watches, keys, wallets, and bags, must be stored in complimentary lockers before your climb. All specialist climb equipment, weather jackets (if required), and a Story Bridge Adventure Climb cap are provided.
- All climbers must be at least 6 years of age with a minimum height of 110cm
- Children aged 6-16 years can have a maximum of 3 children per adult
- Concession is for students with ID and seniors over 60
- Every climber will be breathalysed and must register under 0.05
- Maximum weight is 130kgs
- Climbs operate in most weather conditions - we do climb in the rain
- As climbers will not be permitted to take cameras (including video cameras) onto the climb, there are 3 photo opportunities that your climb leader will take photos from. Photos will be available to purchase from the photo shop after your climb experience
- Minimum age 6 years old
- Minimum height 110cm
- Maximum weight 130 kg
- Minors (under 16) accompanied by adult
- Maximum 3 minors per adult
- Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and are only valid for the booked climb
- Gift Certificates are non-refundable
- No refund will be provided in case of booking cancellation or no-show Requests to change a booking (subject to SBAC management approval) may only be made to the time or date of a climb but not to the number or identity of climbers. Administration fees apply as follows:
- Requests to change a booking up to 14 days before the climb date will incur a $50 fee per booking
- Requests to change a booking within 13 days to 72 hours will incur a $25 rescheduling fee per booked climber
- Requests to change a booking within 72 hours cannot be accommodated
- In the case of purchases bought through a reseller, that reseller will be responsible for any rescheduling administration, in accordance with SBAC’s rescheduling policies
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details is included on your tour voucher
