What you can expect
Enjoy a two-hour self-guided kayak across the smooth waters of the Warren Reservoir in the Barossa Valley. Take your paddle and explore the Barossa Valley’s natural landscape at your own pace. On your journey, keep an eye out for local wildlife such as a variety of birdlife, kangaroos, emus, and the resident koala, Benny. No prior kayaking experience is needed, as you will be briefed by an accredited kayak instructor with all the tips and tricks to get you started

- This experience takes place at the Warren Reservoir in Mount Crawford SA 5351, Australia
- The maximum passenger weight for single kayaks is 120kgs. For doubles the maximum combined weight of all passengers must not exceed 220kgs, and for junior kayaks 40kgs.
- We only supply P.F.Ds. (Personal Flotation Devices/Buoyancy Aids) for adults over 40kg and children over 25 kg. PFDs are only suitable for persons who can swim in the case of an emergency.
- Our PFDs may not be suitable for some persons with physical disabilities.
- We do not stock life vests or life jackets for non-swimmers¹. Non-swimmers wishing to kayak with us must supply their life vest/jacket and present them to a member of BKH for a water safety compliance inspection before commencing the hire. ¹(i.e. persons who can not swim.) Except for toddlers and small children with a weight between 15kg and 25kg. Limited life vests (Level 100) are available for this category and can be hired on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please note in the interest of safety it is vitally important that all persons who will be onboard our kayaks complete a pre-check-in as soon as possible after making a booking request.
- Accurate weights and information must be provided. This is for insurance, and water safety and to help us plan for your day.
- A pre-check In must be completed for all child passengers.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
