Gin connoisseurs will love this beautiful place
If I could rate this higher than 5/5 I would. If you are into the art of distillation this is a great experience. The building is beautiful and decor inside spectacular, there is a great vibe. Enhanced by the great staff. We had a great walk through the inception of the distillery from Darque who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She shared the story and experience of the botanicals for their local gin. The gin tasting was great. Highly recommend.
Lively bar in an interesting setting
Great use of a converted space and nicely furnished for a party. Lots of cocktails on offer, as well as gin, whisky and vodka tastings from the in house distillery and varied bar food. We had a great night there!
What you can expect
Make your very own cocktails during a guided experience for two, where you'll spend 75 minutes in the shoes of a mixologist and take home a bottle of spirits. Step into Itinerant Spirits in Ballarat, conveniently located just an hour train from Melbourne Southern Cross Station and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink to set the tone.
Dive into cocktail making with an experienced mixologist and get hands-on as you craft two personalised cocktails. Pick from seasonal, fresh ingredients as you balance spirits, bitters and citrus and learn tips and tricks and hear the story behind the distillery set in The Goods Shed. To complete the experience, you'll select a bottle of spirits to go along with a cocktail-making kit and booklet filled with recipes to test out at home.

Great for gin lovers and social events
Extensive menu of gin and other alcoholic drinks. Gin is made on site, I don't drink but my friends said they are a lovely range of botanicals with new ones being added periodically. As a teetotaller they have a few nice mocktails, a couple had ingredients out of stock but they were easily able to offer a delicious substitute which I have a few of. They also stock an alcohol free beer too which is great. Food is lovely, and staff are very engaging and eager to provide excellent service and experience. Will definitely be back!
