What you can expect
Wander through Waiheke Island on a guided walk that combines beaches, bushland, and world-class wine. Begin your journey in the native forest of Atawhai Whenua and Pio Rehutai Reserves, where your expert guide will share stories of conservation, ecology, and the island’s rich history. Breathtaking views across the Gulf Islands, the Great Barrier, and the Coromandel Peninsula surround you as you make your way along the hills and coastal tracks. Along the way, you'll spot native plants, seabirds, and sometimes even orcas or dolphins out in the Hauraki Gulf.
After the walk, you’ll arrive at Mudbrick Vineyard and Cable Bay Vineyards, two of the island’s most celebrated wineries. Here, you’ll enjoy tastings of award-winning wines or opt for a coffee and light bite if you prefer. With small group sizes and a mix of scenery that showcases why Waiheke is so special, this walking and wine experience is the perfect way to make the most of your time on the island.
