What you can expect

The Coromandel full-day tour commences with a pickup from Auckland CBD; then, guests enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour drive through the Waikato Region then Bay Of Plenty with a scenic stop on the way for amazing photos and any other stops if needed. Then, the tour heads down to visit the Driving Creek Railway, which offers a 1-hour train ride that includes 2 spirals, 3 short tunnels, 5 reversing points, and several large viaducts as it climbs up the hill to the Eyefull Tower.

At the top, guests are fascinated by the panoramic views over the island-studded Hauraki Gulf. Afterwards, they proceed to White Sandy Coromandel Beach where they can enjoy a walk, swim, or just relax.

  • Cancellation policy (Group Tours): In the event you have purchased a group tour and subsequently wish to cancel it, Auckland & Beyond Tours may refund your booking at its sole discretion, in which event you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows: a. 7 – 10 days prior to the date of the tour – 25% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. b. 3 – 6 days prior to the date of the tour – 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. c. 48 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket.
