What you can expect
The alluring smells and sights will tease and tempt the tastebuds throughout the 2 hour walking tour. With a local guide by your side, learn about the early origins of the Haigh family and the Balfours bakery that first opened its doors in 1853. Later, take a stroll through the markets ahead of your provided bakery lunch. From frog cakes, fritz and everything in between, enjoy delicious samples that are included at stops along the way.

- Tours depart from Haigh's Chocolates Adelaide Arcade (corner of Adelaide Arcade and Grenfell Street) and finish at Adelaide Central Market
- Please arrive for check in 10 minutes prior to your tour departure time
- We suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes, either open or closed
- Not suitable for gluten-free/vegans
- Vegetarians can be catered for with multiple lunch options, and a substitute in place of the fritz sample (must be requested at the time of booking)
- This tour is wheelchair friendly
- A limit of 10 people for this tour
- For child bookings, iced coffee will be substituted for a flavoured milk or juice unless requested otherwise
- To receive the vegetarian option, please inform us when booking or via email. Please nominate if you'd like a spinach and fetta roll, vegetarian pasty or vegan pasty so we can ensure this is reserved for you on the day
- Vegetarians can be catered for with multiple lunch options and a substituted sample for the fritz
- This tour is not suitable for vegans or those with intolerances, including gluten

- A basic level of fitness is required
- No refunds for change of mind, can reschedule to a different date
- If tours are cancelled in the case of emergency, a full refund is issued
