What you can expect

Journey from Airlie Beach to the lush Clarke Ranges for a full-day adventure into the Eungella National Park. Your day begins with morning tea by the river before venturing deep into Australia’s longest stretch of subtropical rainforest. You’ll wander through trees, visit waterfalls at Finch Hatton Gorge, and take in scenic views from the famous Sky Window lookout. Along the way, your guide will share stories of the park’s ancient ecology and incredible biodiversity.

The highlight of the day is Broken River, one of the few places in Australia where you can see wild platypus in their natural habitat. After exploring, enjoy a classic Aussie BBQ lunch in the mountains, including sausages in bread, onions, sauce, and a cold beer or wine. With breathtaking scenery, wildlife encounters, and plenty of time to soak it all in, this eco-certified tour offers a magical glimpse into the quieter side of North Queensland.
