Explore Magnetic Island’s Wild Side! Embark on the West Coast Eco Adventure, a guided 3 hour and 30 minute, all-terrain bus tour, that reveals the untouched beauty of Magnetic Island’s west coast. This eco-conscious adventure takes you off the beaten track to discover stunning landscapes, rare wildlife, and fascinating stories about the island’s history and conservation.

- • Morning tea, coffee or juice, with a shared seasonal fruit platter and sweet treats. • Table and chairs for tea stop. • Fun and engaging commentary about the island’s wildlife, history, and ecology. • Use of field guides and binoculars. • Access to remote areas via comfortable all-terrain transport. • Low-step access and easy walks for all adventurers. • Fresh water top up.
- Please note: • To allow for preparation time, bookings close at 8pm the night prior to the departure time of each tour. • There is no access to toilets on this remote tour. Your tour guide will take you to facilities before the tour starts and once the tour ends. • This tour is weather dependent, particularly during the wet season (between December and March). Tour itinerary can vary due to weather and tidal conditions.)
- • Departs at 8.15am and returns at 11.45am.
- This experience is approximately three hours and 30 minutes in duration.
- This experience departs from Magnetic Island Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal, Nelly Bay, QLD 4819. MI Ride will pick you up from the courtesy pick-up and drop-off bay just outside of the terminal.
- Not allowed: • Smoking in the vehicle • Littering • Feeding animals • Alcoholic drinks in the vehicle • Touching animals Giving back to nature: We donate a percentage of our profits from every West Coast Eco Adventure Tour to support the Magnetic Island Nature Care Association (MINCA).
- • A good sense of humour. • Water bottle. • Comfortable clothing and shoes. • Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent.
- Your comfort and safety is our priority. In extreme weather conditions (or for foreseen circumstances), we may need to cancel a tour. If a scheduled tour is cancelled we will transfer your booking to another day, or you will be given a full refund.
- This is a remote area tour with no access to toilets, or fresh water, so if you are unwell, we request that you contact us as soon as possible on 0413 517 651, and we will offer you options of a refund or transfer your booking to a suitable date. The following fees apply if there is a "no show" or if you give us minimal notice: Less than 24 hours notice or a "no show": You will be charged the full fare. Within 2 days/48 hours of your booked tour: A 20% fee may be deducted from your payment if seats cannot be resold.
- • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience • Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction • For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details is included on your tour voucher • Availability was accurate at the time of booking however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control • We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and prior to making other travel arrangements
