What you can expect

Climb aboard for a one-hour scenic flight above Doubtful Sound, the second-largest fiord in Fiordland National Park on New Zealand's South Island. Follow a planned route across dramatic alpine terrain, taking in towering granite peaks and the true scale of this remote wilderness below.

Weather permitting, your flight includes a remote alpine or waterfall landing, with time to step outside, take photos and soak up the surrounding scenery in complete stillness. As you head back towards Te Anau, watch for the Tasman Sea meeting the fiord's mouth, one of the most spectacular sights of the whole journey. Transfers can be arranged from Te Anau or Manapouri, making this an easy way to take in one of Fiordland's wildest corners from above.
